nestled on a bluff overlooking the Puget Sound,
Mt. Baker, Whidbey
Island, and the Cascade mountains. Big
picture windows offer a stunning view from almost every room in the house.
Legend has it that Bay Vista Cottage was the original Rolling Bay Post
Office dating back to 1910. Many major renovations later, Bay Vista Cottage

the first floor living area creates a warm ambience, while the newly
remodeled kitchen offers all the amenities your gourmet chef desires!
Amenities

and seating for more than 6. Enjoy a hearty BBQ dinner on a cool summer
night, or roast marshmallows in the fire pit (propane and wood provided).
Surrounding the deck is a lovely garden that was featured in the annual
"Bainbridge in Bloom" event. Meander down the flagstone path and a wonderful
covered swinging bench invites you to sit and relax and watch the marine
traffic sail by or listen to the seagulls soaring overhead.
The well-appointed kitchen was remodeled in 2010 and has
stainless steel Bosch appliances, spacious granite countertops and is
well-equipped for all your cooking needs including gas range, dishwasher,
refrigerator with ice-maker, microwave, and Kuerig coffee maker. In
addition, there are two large view windows looking onto the amazing water
views!!
The living room features ample seating for 6

ottomans for fireside chats or snuggling up with a good book.
The dining room comfortably seats 6, and can expand to
accommodate 8 people. There are large bay windows that beg you to look out
over the deck, garden, and on to the beautiful blue waters beyond. Another
set of picture windows frame the peaceful grove of bamboo trees in the side
yard providing a soothing green backdrop for a wonderful meal and
conversation.
There is a separate laundry room upstairs
featuring a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board.
